Good Shepherd adds Joe Pesci

September 1, 2005 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

The Good Shepard has been noteworthy lately mostly because Brad Pitt keeps bringing the colors of the rainbow family to the set to visit the films star, Angelina Jolie. The film is a 40 year history of the CIA as told by one of its founders, played by Matt Damon, and today comes news that co-star and director Robert DeNiro has talked his friend Joe Pesci out of retirement to take a role as – brace yourself – a mobster under surveillance by Damon. The role probably wont be huge, but after Casino and Goodfellas, DeNiro and Pesci could make a movie where all they do is rape my girlfriend and I would still buy the collectors edition DVD just for the commentary track. Oooh, I wonder if they’ll mention me.
