Daniel Craig is James Bond

Just about everybody with a web page is now reporting that Layer Cake star Daniel Craig has been cast as the next James Bond and the official announcement will be made in the next few days. This quick summary from London paper the Daily Mail:

“In the end a shortlist of two emerged – Craig and newcomer Henry Cavill. The pair were auditioned again and tried on tuxedos to see how they would look in the quintessential Bond clothing. Craig, 37, whose choice will be confirmed by producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson later this week, will be the sixth Bond, but the first blond.”

It’s a little insulting for them to infer that this came down to only two candidates, since its well known I’m like sugar to the ladies. And this was before I perfected my hot new look of seduction in the mirror last weekend, a wink followed by a quick six shooter move. I may or may not say BANG BANG out loud, depending on how much swooning my victim has done already.
