Colin Farrell is in rehab

Several wire reports are saying today that Colin Farrell is being treated for exhaustion and dependency on prescription medication. According to his publicist in a very brief statement, the medication was prescribed for Farrell after a back injury and yesterday he checked himself into an unidentified treatment center.


Other reports not mentioned by the publicist say he was pumped with cocaine and marijuana and rushed to a hospital after almost dying, then checked into the unnamed rehab. Why stars aren’t arrested after being found with cocaine in their blood is beyond me. It’s still illegal to do coke in Hollywood, right. And it would be more helpful. Waking up and finding your cellmate masturbating on you with a screwdriver to your throat has to bring more reflection than having some sandal-wearing long-hair give you an exotic tea that harnesses all the power or the far east.
