Lindsay hospitalized for (ahem) asthma

Entertainment Tonight says that Lindsay Lohan was admitted to a hospital in Miami on Monday after suffering an asthma attack. The attack was said to be so severe it caused a broken blood vessel in her neck, which prompted doctors to advise the actress to seek treatment at the hospital. According to a rep, Lohan is still in the hospital for observation. Lohan was in Miami to host a New Year’s Eve party on Saturday at the nightclub ‘Prive’.


So lets see: a rail thin actress, in Miami, on New Years Eve, hosting a party in a nightclub she shouldn’t even be in cause she’s 19 … and she has an “asthma attack”. Jesus, these PR people don’t think very much of us, do they. Like, if Lindsay ever got pregnant, and the baby came out with scratches all over its forehead from the coat-hanger abortion Lindsay tried while high and drunk, the PR people would just tell us the kid was some kind of real life Harry Potter.

This is Lindsay in Miami on New Years Day, just hours before being struck down by the silent killer asthma.


update – well, not really an update, but Lindays spokeswoman Leslie Sloane Zelnick told MTV.com, “It’s the first (asthma) attack since I’ve known her.” Yikes. Someone needs to go back to spokeswoman school, cause with all the addiction rumors, you probably should have left that part out.
