‘Entourage’ may make a change

April 15, 2006 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

Slow news day + slow news week = non stories about ‘Entourage’ and the rumor that the unfunniest show on TV is desperately striving to become even unfunnier, and may replace Jeremy Piven, who plays agent Ari Gold, with underrated heat Carla Gugino, who just signed a deal to appear on 6 episodes playing an agent trying to steal Golds top client and show star Vincent Chase. An already filmed episode features Chase, Drama, E and Turtle being wooed by Gugino courtside at a Lakers game.

Between supermodels pawing at my genitals and pirates trying to steal my treasure, I’ve been pretty busy, and I actually haven’t seen an episode of ‘Entourage’ since season 1, and maybe it got hilarious since then, but I kinda doubt it. I do remember that the only good things about it were Jeremy Piven and Kevin Connelly, so the odds that they’re going to write Piven a smaller part or off the show completely seem remote at best. Of course, being known as the best thing sbout ‘Entourage’ is like being known as the fastest child molester. It’s great that you’re on top, but please realize that everyone still hates you.
