WHATS NEXT FOR ANTONELLA

March 9, 2007 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

Antonella Barba was surprisingly voted off of American Idol last night, and now she must decide what she will do next.  One thing she probably won't do is become spokesperson for a porn company.  Even though one has now offered her $500,000.  TMZ says:

SugarDVD, the largest renter of adult DVDs online, tells TMZ they've offered Antonella Barba a whopping $500,000 to become their new spokesperson.  If Barba signs, her first gig would be hosting a launch party for their new video-on-demand service. (The Sugar CEO) said he welcomed a bidding war, “You saw her photos online, she's smokin'. We will not lose because of money."

Earlier this week she received a similar offer from Girls Gone Wild, who promised $250,000 to host one of their videos.  CEO Joe Francis said:

"We have reached out to Antonella Barba through her family and are trying to reach her directly in order to offer her a hosting job for one of our upcoming video projects. Just like the American Idol judges, we at Girls Gone Wild are looking for a girl next door, with sexiness, attitude, a carefree spirit and a presence that will command the attention of the Nation."

And of course there's Playboy, who hasn't been in contact yet, but when asked if an offer might be forthcoming, Hugh Hefner said:

"She really looks sexy here … (it’s a) very real possibility. Yes, absolutely."

Playboy or even Girls Gone Wild seems like a possibility, but I'm guessing she declines the very generous hardcore porn offer.  At least I hope so.  She doesn't need to be in that world.  Sex should be about two people expressing their love, not just throwing a girl down and ripping her clothes of.  At least that's what your mom told me. Man, she gets really clingy afterwards, huh.  What's that all about.
