THE TABS ARE TURNING ON ANGELINA

April 5, 2007 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

Angelina Jolies adoption of a fifth child appears to be on track and reports say a one year girl from the African country of Chad could join the Jolie clan as soon as this summer.  Even though all is well there, the New York Post says she better not go to People magazine with the exclusive pictures, as she has with the first shots of Shiloh, Pax and Zahara.  Page Six says:

Sources say Us Weekly, Star and other celebrity weeklies are so fed up with getting scooped by People, they've turned on Jolie and Brad Pitt with a vengeance. The headline on Us last week blared, "Her Twisted Double Life," along with, "Her broken promise to be a stay-at-home mom . . . How she uses her kids to manipulate the media." This week, Star went with "Angelina Walks Out on Brad! . . . and Dumps the Kids!" The tab says Jolie reneged on her promise to stay home with her kids and flew off to Chicago to film "Wanted." She's also slated to star in "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Changeling," while Pitt will be busy promoting "Ocean's Thirteen" and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" and starting "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

It's true that the media can be brutal when they turn on you.  Like when Time magazine ran that cover story on me saying I’ve never kissed a girl.  Whatever.  What about my mom and my Christina Aguilera CD and my Kim Possible doll.  Those are girls.  See what I mean, they just lie and I'm sorry, but I don't think that's very nice.
