the Riddler will not be the villain in “Dark Knight Rises”

One of the best things about Christopher Nolan is that he makes his movies and lets them stand on their own. He doesn’t cut 50 different commercials or give anything away in the trailers and he doesn’t talk about them.

The last part also kind of sucks, because it’s been impossible to get any details out of him about Batman 3, so the fact that the LA Times got the name of the movie and can kill the rumor that the villain would be a ‘Saw’-like version of the Riddler is a flood of information on par with the discovery of the Rosetta Stone.

Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film will be called “The Dark Knight Rises” and though he isn’t ready to reveal the villain of his 2012 film, he did eliminate one of the big contenders: “It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan said in an exclusive interview with Hero Complex.
Nolan was most eager to talk about the fact that Warner Bros. had agreed with his argument that the film should resist the current 3-D craze and instead use high-definition approaches and IMAX cameras.

So Nolan has now eliminated Riddler and Mr. Freeze as villains, and it likely wont feature AnnaLynne McCord in a sexy Halloween Batgirl costume. God, so now I feel like I’ve already seen it. Thanks for ruining the movie dick!
