Disney star Demi Lovato seems like a normal enough 18 year old girl, and apparently she is because all 18 year old girls are insane. For 3 years now she’s been accused of cutting herself (like this), and this weekend she dropped out of her tour and entered a treatment center.
(Demi has) checked into a treatment center for “emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help.”
The rep didn’t specify the nature of Lovato’s problems.
But a source close to Lovato’s family tells PEOPLE, “She was bullied in school. She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. … Demi is taking control by getting help.”
Well, at least there are treatment centers these days that specialize in this kind of thing. When I was in high school, I would make fun of the weird kids until they killed themselves and that was that, but no more. This is real progress!
Maybe she should try that new treatment, “Porn Therapy”. The patient releases a sex tape and all their problems just disappear. Granted, it is still in the preliminary phase, but it’s worth a shot.
