Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, north London.
The ‘Rehab’ singer, 27, was discovered at the property in north London by emergency services at around 3:54pm this afternoon.
A police statement said: “Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”
Sources say the talented star died of a suspected overdose.
Gee ya think? You could have filed her coroners report 4 years ago.
In one of her latest performances in Belgrade, Serbia, Amy staggered on stage an hour late, appearing drunk and incoherent.
Her ‘performance’ was booed by 20,000 irate fans - some who paid a week’s salary to see her. Scores walked out in disgust.
Good. Good riddance. I’m glad she’s dead. If I were at the funeral I’d tip her coffin over and kick the corpse. First of all her music was annoying, but much more importantly she had every chance in the world to get clean, to get off drugs, to save herself. She chose not too. People begged her. She ignored them. This wasn’t some poor girl with no options. She had every option. She had access to the best care in the world. This isn’t someone who made a mistake or two or twenty. She was an addict and she thought it was cute. She bragged about it in her biggest hit. If she didn’t give a shit about her life why should I? If I had a loved one with a drug problem I’d dig Amy up and tie her up on their doorstep like a Halloween decoration. Maybe it would scare them into getting clean. Or if nothing else I could just wait until Halloween to do it and kill two birds with one stone. My house would be the spookiest!

And you made it this way. You were beautiful, drugs made you look like a witch on steroids with major hygiene issues. You had talent and pissed on it. You had fans, you crapped on them. I won’t say i’m glad that you died, but you god damn deserved it and had it coming for a loooong time. I hope people won’t turn you into a martyr or mourn you. She had a weakness that eventually beat her. I am glad I can say no to drugs. In our eyes she was a victim of self destruction. In her eyes, she thought she could handle it. Oops.

I hope you all can one day experience what it’s like to know or be related to someone that has a self-destructive habit that they can’t work themselves out of, no matter how much you try to help them. Personally, I loved Amy’s voice and her album ‘Back to Black’. I didn’t love her [what seemed to be a ]careless attitude towards drugs and addiction though.
B - kudos for having the common sense to point out all of the help she just threw away in favor of her “cute” and fancy lifestyle. She seemed to have every opportunity available to her and then some.
Again, I personally loved her and was quite moved yesterday when I found out (thanks Twitter!) but not in the least shocked. As a matter of fact when I read an article on Cracked.com about the ‘27 Club’ the other day I couldn’t help but think of how Amy would probably “join” too…
I have been a loyal follower of this website for 4-5 years now; reading it every day. I have to say that reading all the horrible things you just said about my favorite singer and greatest musical influence has just stopped that run. Normally, I find your snarky comments really amusing, but you have to give her a break man, she just died. It would be nice if you could at least be somewhat respectful of the fact that some people loved her music. I’m not discounting the fact that she was a drug addict and had it coming for a long time, but I think that many people have lost loved ones who battled a long time against their addictions. Just because she brought it on herself does not make it any less sad.
Does anyone know where she got her tattoos? Did she do them herself? I am only asking because I want to know where not to get tattoos. I’ve seen better art on refrigerators.
