Kurt Russell has replaced Kevin Costner

People who still defend Kevin Costner, like me, always cite when he played an escaped convict in ‘A Perfect World’, so it was awesome when he was set to play a henchman for Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantinos next movie, ‘Django Unchained’ (about a slave owner, DiCaprio, who owns a plantation where slaves fight to the death).

Sadly, now he won’t, and the part has been filled by Kurt Russell, who is also awesome, though maybe a little too likable for this role. I’m probably not supposed to like the guy making the slaves fight to death. If I am, this is a pretty weird movie. (The Wrap)
