When the 7 minute prologue trailer for ‘the Dark Knight Rises’ leaked yesterday, most people immediately said two things: “damn that was bad ass!” and “I have no idea what the fuck was going on!”
Luckily someone from the studio was nice enough to email me the script pages for that scene. So now we can find out what the hell Bane is saying, learn the status of the fire, and discover why his henchmen brought along a dead guy in a body bag. Good luck getting that through customs when you land, henchmen.

Whoever wrote it doesn’t know when you switch between locations it’s given a new scene headed (as evidenced on page 6 where it’s describing action inside and outside the plane without the common INT. PLANE – DAY and EXT. PLANE – DAY scene headers). Simple screenwriting 101 mistakes, and scripts are written like that to keep track of how many scenes there are for scheduling production, budgeting and script breakdown. You’ve been duped or were intentionally misrepresenting what you got to ride the coat tails of the “Dark Knight Rises” trailer leaks this week for more site hits.

Yep, not the real script. There’s technical mistakes like kingofchicity pointed out, but also because this says the CIA agent actually shoots the guy in the head and throws him out of the plane. In the actual scene, he just shoots the gun and says “He didn’t fly so good!” but the guy is being pulled back in. They’re all wearing hoods, so they wouldn’t know if he was actually killing that guy or not so the agent doesn’t actually kill him. This is what Bane points out with his first line.
