The fact that ‘The Avengers’ is a huge success both critically (out of 213 reviews on rotten tomatoes, 93 percent have been positive) and financially (deadline says it will make around $67 million just today in the US, bringing it’s worldwide total on it’s first day to $371 million) really just proves what many of us have suspected all along; using your imagination while reading a book is complete bullshit. Why even bother when you can go see Iron Man fly around and the Hulk punching robots from outer space!
