For the record, that’s a pretty damn gay way to kill somebody when you can literally imagine anything you want.
About 85% of the hate mail has come from female readers while only about 15% of site readers are female. Which means, a certain former site editor had a serious vibe going on with the only gender that matters. That’s a thing.
The ultimate story behind the transition is probably not what most people think. We hope that those who have stuck around this last year or two stick around to see the changes. This is only day four. And, we’re still free.

I haven’t logged in since the days of The Doctress. Not sure exactly what pointing out the gender of your hate mail does. The quality has gone down quite a bit since the exit of Brendon, but I’ll stick around a bit longer to see how it goes because I have a misguided sense of optimism. I will agree that some of the writers are trying to hard and are maybe in need of an overarching editor who reads over posts for coherency and grammar ect. Good luck dudes, don’t fuck it up.

Look, the bottom line is this: humor is subjective. You’re never going to get all these posters to agree things are as funny as your former writer’s entries. But what you can change is your level of quality and professionalism.
Get one person who knows AP style and let them edit the posts. There’s hundreds graduating every day from colleges around the country & I’m sure you can offer them indentured servitude for payment. I would offer to do it myself I wasn’t busy being employed as a writer. As it stands now, you have zero quality control, and when the internet monkeys sense this, they will fling their feces with abandon.
It’s not rocket science, put safeguards in place.
