Gucci Mane Was Arrested For Assaulting A Soldier

March 28, 2013 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

Back on March 14, all seemed well for rapper Gucci Mane, as he stepped out to the Hollywood premiere of Spring Breakers with his very lovely girlfriend and model Keyshia Dior to celebrate his film debut. Maybe he even managed to stay awake during the screening of the film, unlike the actual process of making it, as it has been rumored that he fell asleep during his sex scene. It’s cool, Gooch. It happens to the best of us.

But two nights later, Gucci was on the opposite of the country, partying at an Atlanta nightclub, and that evening did not turn out as well as he may have once hoped.

Rapper Gucci Mane was jailed in Georgia on Wednesday for allegedly hitting a fan in the head with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta nightclub earlier this month.

Mane, 33, faces an aggravated assault charge after causing a “severe laceration” to the man whom he hit with a champagne bottle on March 16, according to a police report. The fan had approached Mane and tried to strike up a conversation, police said. Mane left the nightclub before police arrived. (Reuters)

The victim is a U.S. soldier named James and he claims that he was simply asking one of Gucci’s security guards if he could get a quick picture with the rapper when, out of nowhere – POP! Someone knocked him upside the head with a bottle of bubbly. Gucci then allegedly left the club and drove away in his white SUV, which is standard protocol for night club assaults. Oh, and denying it, which Gucci has, of course, done.

I just hope that Keyshia wasn’t harmed or scared during the entire ordeal, because she seems like a gentle soul.
