Your Emails Are Being Read!

I bet you think they go into a black hole. But, no. Like that priest in The DaVinci Code flagellating himself to get closer to his higher power, I am reading every single one.

The majority of the letters are from people who loved the former site editor but can’t wait to fill his shoes, or people who stuck with the site the last couple of years despite the exodus and are in wait and see mode, a couple unduly sweet notes, and some just downright pissed off, including that guy who said he wants to rip off my dick and choke me to death with it. For the record, that’s a pretty damn gay way to kill somebody when you can literally imagine anything you want.

About 85% of the hate mail has come from female readers while only about 15% of site readers are female. Which means, a certain former site editor had a serious vibe going on with the only gender that matters. That’s a thing.

The ultimate story behind the transition is probably not what most people think. We hope that those who have stuck around this last year or two stick around to see the changes. This is only day four. And, we’re still free.
