Is This “Cheeky Cherokee” Costume Racist Or Just Slutty?

A “Native American” woman is super pissed at a Halloween costume she says is stereotyping and racist to Cherokees. I guess she got tired of nobody caring about the whole Redskins debate so she moved on to trashy Halloween costumes for suburban white girls looking for attention. The costume falls into the category of slutty ___. For example: slutty cat, slutty nurse, slutty rabbi, etc. The picture on the front of the bag shows a rather young squaw in a short faux leather dress and feathered pigtail headdress. I’m not sure if it’s racist or just stripper-y. I guess it could be both, but the latter definitely trumps the former in any and all cases. Let’s be honest, the entire purpose of Halloween has become an excuse for girls to dress and act whorish. Which means it finally has a decent purpose. Fuck candy. I can buy that 365 days a year at the mini-mart.
