Politicians Are Still Colossal Douchebags

Last night’s State of the Union was the same old song and dance for both sides, as one party wants gays to be able to get married in front of flaming stacks of Bibles and the other wants us all to keep living like it’s 1955, and everyone in Washington D.C. wants to make sure that the middle class dies a quick and painful death. But the biggest moment for most politicians wasn’t Barack Obama’s words of inspiration or one of the republicans firing back at the Kenyan-born Muslim’s lies. Instead it was a photo op with one of the guys from Duck Dynasty, who was a guest of Louisiana’s Vance McAllister. Which guy was it? Who the fuck cares? He’s sure as hell not going to fix the student loan debt crisis, but Paul Ryan just has to get a quick shot with him for Facebook.
