Tupac’s Last Words Might Have Been ‘Fuck You’

Retired Las Vegas metro police officer Chris Carroll recently gave an interview to Vegas Seven about how he was the first officer on the scene on September 7, 1996, the night that Tupac Shakur was gunned down and killed. A lot can happen in a guy’s head in 18 years, after he’s had plenty of time to think about what he witnessed that night, but he told the website with great detail how Mike Tyson fights were especially terrible for the Vegas strip, because it was the “Super Bowl of the pimp/whore/gangster crowd,” and he just knew “that bad stuff was going to happen.”

That bad stuff was Tupac being murdered, but Carroll claims that not only was he the guy who pulled Tupac from the car, but he also tried to get the rapper to tell him who shot him.

“… he looked at me, and he’s looking right in my eyes. And that’s when I looked at him and said one more time, ‘Who shot you?’

“He looked at me and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth, and I thought I was actually going to get some cooperation. And then the words came out: ‘Fuck you.’

Let’s just assume that this is 100% true, because those are probably the most perfect dying words for Tupac.
