Meet The Press Still Sucks

NBC is beginning the arduous process of firing Meet The Press host Chuck Todd. You may know Todd from his regular punditry on shows you ignore with your grandpa at the assisted living facility, and also his bus stop bench ads where his waterbed owner facial hair inquires if you were injured in a car accident. The network leaked a few grumblings about how the show sucks, presumably in reference to the fact their new host is clearly a Mormon Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman. Todd scored big ratings in his Meet The Press debut mostly because Barack Obama agreed to an interview after Bill Pullman canceled. Since then ratings have gone straight into the toilet, where the show has resided on and off since the Benjamin Franklin administration. Hopefully it will be cancelled soon, which would be the first relevant thing it has done since Camelot.
