People who like to pretend shit is only horrible after being captured on cellphone video are aghast that two chicks working at a Waffle House restaurant in Arkansas were in the food prep area straightening out their braids with hot water. First thing to consider, a little hair in your fried food isn’t going to lessen your days on this planet. The Waffle House makes Steak and Hash Brown sandwiches for six bucks. Until Kevorkian came along, that kind of dietary euthanasia wasn’t even legal.

Anybody who’s ever worked in a restaurant knows precisely how nasty shit gets in the kitchen. Go on, ask a friend who’s worked in the back for his most disgusting story and you’ll feel like retching. You don’t like chicks with long weaves dipping their locks into your soup to get out the frizz? Tear down the wall and let the Mexicans back in. Cell phone video can’t capture whooping cough being aerosolized onto room temperature tomatoes.

The women in the video were fired and out of work for the eleven minutes it took them to get the Bojangle’s one block over. You can’t eliminate nasty from the fast food equation. If you routinely eat at Waffle House, you should probably consult your mortician.
