Video of Queens of the Stone Age lead singer, Josh Homme, berating an autograph-seeking fan has emerged. Homme aggressively upbraids the guy, calling him a “fucking loser” and “spoiled motherfucker.” It would be easy to call out Homme for bad behavior until you realize that the fan is an adult with a beard. If you can grow a beard, you can’t ask for another human’s autograph anymore. With facial hair comes great responsibility. One of those responsibilities is to not behave like a fucking child. If you’re in your thirties and begging for autographs like a twelve-year-old perestroika-era girl at a Madonna concert, you deserve a tongue-lashing from a self-important celebrity. Welcome to puberty. Mommy can’t save you anymore.
