Hilary Duff Is the Keymaster

July 2, 2016 | celebrity | Lex Jurgen | 0 Comments

In the days of traditional television media, there were the talent Haves and the Have-Nots. The Haves competed in the Battle of the Network Stars revealing their revolting body hair while the Have-Nots spoke of that show they used to be on fifteen years earlier and waited impatiently for cancer to take them.

The new era of endless cable and pure digital channels has led to the creation of a Hollywood middle class filled with women in tastefully revealing tops working for SAG minimums.  Niche programming targeted at anybody likely purchase bedding on impulse. Hilary Duff could make more dollars selling cosmetics at Macy’s than her show on TVLand, but the entertainment medium allows her to continue to say stupid celebrity parent shit and still be picked up:

I think it’s important to instill self-respect, compassion and a strong work ethic [into your children]. When you do something with your life, it gives you a confidence that you wouldn’t otherwise have.

You’ve had a hit kids show, a marriage, a divorce, a child, and a show on cable channel nineteen households checked out this past year. That versus doing nothing seems like a no-brainer. Be glad Gwyneth Paltrow invented amicable divorces or you’d be caring for that marriage saving baby that didn’t workout by your lonesome. I’m certain I would’ve watched more Lizzie McGuire if you dressed like this.
