Amber Heard has gone on record as saying she will be giving the $7 million she got for extorting her husband to a couple of charities, including the ACLU, even though that’s not actually a charity. How admirable, yet does the ACLU really advocate for the rights of blackmailers? Surely that’s not considered free speech. Perhaps they should return the donation. It seems quite reasonable that she was lying about her intentions, considering her history of applying bad fake bruises to her face and parading around in public like a common bad soap opera character.
Johnny Depp appears to have called her bluff, because he took the money and donated it directly to the charities Heard specified without letting her get her greasy mitts on it. If you had actually planned on following through on your promise, that would probably suffice, but Heard is pissed because Depp can presumably write these donations off to charity, which won’t hit him in the pocketbook. What do you care as long as the charities are getting the money? Do you not even care about charity, or intend solely to exact hurt on your ex-husband? Is that the reason we have divorce settlements? Pure vindictiveness? Seems pretty revealing, no? A statement from Heard’s lawyers:
“Amber Heard appreciates Johnny Depp’s novel interest in supporting two of her favorite charities, the ACLU for domestic violence and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. This is great and unexpected news. However, if Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honor the full amount by donating $14 million to charity, which, after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7 million payment obligation to Amber.”
Let’s ask the sick kids. They’re probably cool with half as much money as long as that bitch with Lucifer’s eyes stays out of the terminal ward. You don’t want that kind of energy when you’re on your way to meet your maker. Seems like Heard was plotting the old bait and switch. She’s really starting to look inherently evil. If only there were any consequences, outside of the free $7 million the court inexplicably found her entitled to. Point Depp.
