Zendaya Denied From Vons Because She’s Black

Zendaya is apparently an entertainer in the true definition of the word, meaning she is balling with at least $400 in available credit line. She was at a Vons, by far the worst and most ghetto supermarket chain in the LA area, and attempted to buy $400 worth of gift cards. She then released a fairly obnoxious SnapChat about how the cashier wouldn’t allow her to do it because she and her friend are black. Turns out she’s wrong, it’s a store policy. You’re only allowed to by $200 worth of gift cards on a credit card. Seems reasonable, since the go to move of any tweaker with a stolen credit card is to hit up Vons for Robitussin, Claritin D, ambergris and Target cards.

The manager at the Vons actually overrode the system and allowed Zendaya to purchase the $400 in gift cards she was seeking. She failed to mention that in her zany video in which she’s sitting in the front seat of a $200,000 leased car. Your activism looks like a bad In Living Color sketch:

“So we just got out of this Vons. Now I am trying to buy a lot of gift cards… There are certain limits and some things, which is understandable. But the lady that was helping us… I don’t think she was a fan of our skin tone.”

Here’s where you apologize and shut the fuck up for a while. The problem was not that you’re black, or half black and from the upscale suburbs of the Bay Area, the problem is that you were acting like an asshole and that this one time you weren’t able to get what you want. Well, technically you still did. Plus some material for your SnapChat account. Being a young idiot is a real win/win. If we’re to judge by this video being black doesn’t hurt either.
