Dr Dre Kind Of Not A Woman Beater

Sony is producing a Lifetime cardboard set movie called Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le. Yes, your mom will call you and tell you she finally saw Straight Outta Compton. Michele’le is a former R&B chick who recorded albums on Eazy E’s Ruthless label and Death Row Records. She dated Dr Dre for a while and then started fucking Suge Knight and had his baby which is currently fourteen years old and slashing tires outside of Roscoe’s. She sold her story to Lifetime for an open bar, and it includes the claim that Dre used to beat her. While this is most likely true, Dre is threatening to sue Lifetime’s parent company Sony for defamation. They might back down because this movie is expected to gross seven tampon commercials, although it should be pointed out that Dre used to rap about beating up women on a regular basis. He also apologized for it when Straight Outta Compton was released although the film never addressed it because it wasn’t relevant to the story they approved:

“Twenty-five years ago I was a young man drinking too much and in over my head with no real structure in my life. However, none of this is an excuse for what I did. I’ve been married for 19 years and every day I’m working to be a better man for my family, seeking guidance along the way. I’m doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again. I apologize to the women I’ve hurt. I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives.”

American society would be better off if we did away with defamation and libel and slander. These laws started off with good intentions but now they’re just a loophole for anyone with more money than you to intimidate you into not talking. Leveraging lawyers is a bitch move and it’s clearly a free speech issue. You should be able to say whatever you want. We’ll determine if you’re lying out of your ass and shame you accordingly. This is where we evolve as a species. First we must kill all lawyers.
