Anthony Michael Hall Facing Seven Years

Anthony Michael Hall seems like a pretty angry dude. Rumors abound around town about his temper. He turned down Ferris Bueller’s Day Off to become a serious actor, meaning a malcontent with a drinking problem. Probably mental. Being remembered as a gawky dweeb has got to ruffle your feathers from time to time. Especially when you’re wasted and people are trying to remember your full name to your face while saying “wait, wait, don’t tell me.”

Hall is being charged with felony assault because he pushed a guy after an ongoing dispute about the guy not closing the gate at their condo complex. The guy broke his arm. Good. If you can’t withstand a blow from the guy from Weird Science don’t get into verbal altercations. Maybe this will teach him a lesson. Hall will clearly plea down to a misdemeanor but nothing is going to change the fact that shit is going to be awkward between these two when they run into each other at the mail boxes. You don’t see Matthew Broderick pulling these kinds of shenanigans. Of course, he probably has a private elevator. Don’t overthink shit, Hall, that goes for movie rolls and condo gates. Try and relax. Pour yourself a double, Farris Bueller’s on Netflix.
