Jessica Biel’s Whale Tail Will Be the Best Thing About Shock and Awe

A bunch of actors and Rob Reiner all got together at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser and decided to make a movie about how the Bush administration lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as a pretext for invasion in 2003. You know, that movie everybody’s been clamoring for. Good luck getting a half-dozen big named actors and Justin Timberlake’s wife signed on without hesitation to a political drama without the right partisan bona fides.

The politically charged project [Shock and Awe] centers on a group of journalists who asked the tough questions about Saddam Hussein’s alleged WMDs after the Bush administration sold the Iraq War to the American public and via speeches at the UN.

Now who’s looking passé, Star Wars? Who goes to these movies? That’s rhetorical. The answer will obviously be in the next Wikileaks batch.

There’s that moment when guys like Rob Reiner who hold the rare position of being able to get original feature films made transition from making entertaining movies like Princess Bride to a half-dozen more films about how Republicans are super shitty people.

Build a White House set in your backyard already, super myopic jackass. Oliver Stone can rent it out in between your flicks. There’s a weird obsession among these filmmakers with the Bush administration and especially the wars in the Middle East. Naturally, without any concession to the fact they’re vocally supporting candidates who have and will continue to bomb the shit out of the same locale overseas. God forbid people can get away from blatantly partisan shit for two hours and have a laugh and feel their girlfriend’s titty in the dark. Snap that thong I will.
