Holly Sonders Sinks Another Win

January 17, 2017 | celebrity | Lex Jurgen | 0 Comments

Holly Sonders won Golf Magazine’s award for the best looking woman in the sport of golf. She takes home that same title as regularly as Kim Jong-un wins most handsome awards in North Korea. The competition is dead. In North Korea. In golf, they might as well be. Sonders doesn’t even play golf. She commentates for Fox on the sport. She played some in college.

Sports magazines and cohorts have made a concerted effort to make “strong the new sexy” and elevate any number of top tier female athletes into the realm of desirable. It’s not working. The ESPN Body Issue is heavily doctored. So are all the others. With the right makeup and lighting and friendly posing can you make female gymnasts and ballers and mix martial artists look relatively attractive? For the most part. But the pickings are slim. There are thousands of women in pro sports. Arguments about the best looking involves the same four or five over and over again. The nominating pool is substantially broader for sexiest Florida co-ed.

Most high level athletes are strong and fast and aggressive. The correlation with attractive is negligible to negative. PEDs and two-a-days don’t add to the beauty. Nor does military pressing heavy weights. Most female athletes lean masculine as a byproduct of what brought them to the dance. It’s time to stop insisting athletes are good looking. We don’t do this in the Accounting or Epidemiological fields. Give Holly Sonders her ring and shut this shit down. It’s time we once again enjoyed women’s golf for the pure essence of the sport. Thinking about those rough looking lesbians going Ellen in the showers.
