Bill Belichick Defends Possbile Rapist

Don’t hold your breath expecting Bill Belichick to do the right thing. Spygate, deflategate, and now rape-casegate. Me Too has crossed over into American sports. Belichick’s former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia was accused of raping a 21-year-old woman in 1996 while on spring break at South Padre Island. Matt’s first mistake was going on spring break in Texas, you pretty much deserve anything else that comes from making the dumb decision of going to a beach in a state where cowboy boots are acceptable to wear to business meetings. Most things are backwards in that state.

Bill on Patricia:

“The New England Patriots were not aware of the matter which recently came to light,” Belichick said. “For 14 years in our organization, Matt conducted himself with great integrity and is known to be an outstanding coach, person and family man. We have always been confident in Matt’s character and recommended him highly to become the head coach of the Detroit Lions.”

Patricia and a college football teammate were accused of raping a 21-year-old woman 22 years ago during a spring break trip to South Padre Island, off the coast of Texas. Patricia publicly denied the allegations saying “I was innocent then and I’m innocent now.”

He could have easily flew to Cancún, which is right across the gulf. The cartels weren’t killing tourist in broad daylight yet like they are now. And the women can’t challenge whether the sex was consensual when both adults don’t speak the same language. Me Too is more of an American thing at the moment and hasn’t crossed the border into Mexico to this day. If Matt only went the extra one thousand miles or so he wouldn’t be hearing about this regurgitated case of regret sex rewrapped as rape. But Bill openly defending him doesn’t really help his case as he’s involved in a scandal of his own often. Nothing sexual yet but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Belichick isn’t secretly a second coming of Sandusky.
