Ansel Elgort and Kevin Spacey are back at it again in another movie that should be titled “This is definitely not Baby Driver meets Wolf of Wall Street.” Underhanded activities that involve Kevin exercising his influencing over a young man to get what he wants. Something the world is familiar with from Spacey both on and off screen. Surprisingly Spacey is receiving support for his role in the movie Billionaire Boys Club. Probably because it’s Pride month and the sugar in Spacey’s tank is overflowing. But mostly because canceling the release of a movie over something as silly as gay pedophile allegations is far from cost efficient. Me Too is officially out of style. Joining Kevin in the continuation of their career after Me Too accusations is James Franco with the movie Kin. No one cares who inappropriately touched what women where anymore, we just want to be entertained.
Supporters of the Time’s Up movement will not be happy to learn that the time is up for Kevin Spacey to be stuck in the doghouse.
“Billionaire Boys Club” — starring Spacey and Ansel Elgort — is finally set for release on July 19, 2 ½ years after filming wrapped. And Spacey is featured in the trailer.
Richard DuPont — who plays a drug dealer in “Boys Club,” as does twin brother Robert — said it is time for Spacey to reappear on the big screen.
“People have such short memories,” DuPont told me. “And Spacey is almost unrecognizable in a beard and glasses.”
It’s reassuring to know that Kevin’s biggest comeback supporter is probably someone you’ve never heard of, Richard DuPont. According to him the combination of short memories and growing a beard completely erases all accusations of foul play. Apparently facial hair has the ability to make the people forget about that one time you may or may not have forced a Stella Artois inspired erection into the unfilled cavity of a young boy.
