Ariana Grande’s Boyfriend’s Past Causing Problems

When Pete “you’ve probably never heard of me prior to dating Ariana Grande” Davidson isn’t playing the role of an unconvincing homosexual roommate in heartwarming interracial Netflix Original romcoms, he’s telling insensitive jokes and stepping on the toes of random women on the internet. A woman in search of something a celebrity did to be offended by, got lucky and stumbled upon a stand-up Pete did for a Puerto Rico relief benefit that contained a joke about the Manchester bombing. The funniest part about the joke was that Pete hinted at himself being so important that he was unaware of Ariana being famous until the Manchester attack. If you were to google this guy I’m pretty sure Google only recently got around to changing his description from “guy with the face of a smug retard” to “American actor” to appease Ariana.

A woman recently discovered a joke Pete made last year about Ariana Grande and the Manchester bombing attack. Except it didn’t just make her want to roll her eyes. Instead, it really pissed her off, because her daughter was one of the victims.

The Mirror says the woman in question is Charlotte Hodgson, who’s 15-year-old daughter Olivia Campbell-Hardy was killed in the bombing attack at Ariana Grande’s show in Manchester last year in May. Charlotte recently found out that Pete had a joke about the Manchester bombing in his set for a Puerto Rico stand-up benefit in Los Angeles last fall. The gist of the joke is that Pete wasn’t aware of how famous Ariana was until the attack, adding “Britney Spears didn’t have a terrorist attack at her concert.” That really bothered Charlotte, who told The Mirror:

“For anyone to joke about this situation is disgusting and I think he should publicly apologize for it. The families will find it equally as disgusting. We don’t need jokes about it, there have been plenty around, and it’s heartbreaking to hear every day. But for someone so famous to be doing it and now to be with Ariana, it’s outrageous. I think she would be horrified too.”

It’s not like Ariana is known for dating quality men. Her lover, before her current lover who tells terrorism themed jokes, was an easily forgettable Jewish rapper with a recent DUI. It’s only a matter of time before she’s dating a man who has a career delivering pizzas and beats her. They used to say it’s only up once you hit the bottom but some people find a way to move in a lateral motion.
