PPF (Poor People Fight) Breaks Out At Chicago Go Bananas Family Fun Center

August 28, 2018 | News | Sam Robeson | 0 Comments

PPFs (poor people fights) were popularized pre-Internet on shows like Jerry Springer and COPS, so their ubiquity nowadays online makes sense. We were primed and pumped and ready for viral PPFs.

The most recent PPF comes on the heels of the McDonalds tit flopping ogre melee, and took place yesterday in the Chicago town of Norridge at a “family fun center” called Go Bananas. And in the words of a talentless divorcée – the shit is Bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

As I said with the McDonalds smackdown, the mixture of people with nothing to live for and camera phones is one of Dark Web God’s more brilliant pairings. In the video from Go Bananas, trash cans are thrown, a mop is used as a weapon, and at least one person is barefoot. As someone who was raised in rural Appalachia, this gives me the ~feels~. Ever been to a Mr. Gatti’s Pizza?

This isn’t the first PPF to happen at Go Bananas, and in addition to smackdowns, in 2011 the PPE (poor people establishment) actually made national headlines for a PPA (poor people accident) in which a kid died after squirming out of the restraints on a shitty kiddie coaster. Following yesterday’s PPF, over 3,000 Norridge residents have signed a petition to shut down Go Bananas. Instead of shutting it down, maybe they should just sell ringside tickets.
