Cardi B, Tomi Lahren, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Have Royal Political Rumble

Question. Have you guys walked your Tomi Lahren today? I’m not sure what’s more unsettling, rappers commenting on serious issues or professional commentators taking rappers seriously. All news outlets lost credibility the moment the wacky opinions of Joe Schmoe from Twitter were no longer taken with a grain of salt, but as the temperature of the people. The red vs. blue debate is getting a little out of hand. I know Tomi is calling Cardi B a crazed Democrat for attention, but it’s Cardi B. Ease up. Most mentally challenged women that have had dollar bills stuffed in their butt don’t give a damn about political affiliations. It’s not like it would take Russian interference to persuade her to hate Trump over the shutdown. I’m pretty sure a shitty meme from FuckJerry could accomplish the same result.

After calling out Donald Trump and the Republicans over the government shutdown, Cardi B is now in a Twitter feud with Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren. The drama began after the rapper posted an expletive-laden video on Instagram, calling out the president for refusing to agree to any government funding deal that doesn’t include funding for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. The video prompted a response that day from Lahren, who called Cardi the “latest genius mind to endorse the Democrats.“

Cardi responded Sunday by telling Lahren on Twitter to “Leave me alone I will dog walk you.” Lahren swung back, tweeting, “I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling any less moronic. #BuildthatWall”

Verbal punches were thrown back and forth. And as the clapback continued, the newly-appointed congresswoman from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‏, joined in. “Why do people think they can mess with Bronx women without getting roasted?” AOC tweeted. “They act as though our borough hasn’t been perfecting the clapback game since the Sugarhill Gang y’all just found it on Twitter.”

This is the definition of punching down. I believe there used to be a time when the village just ignored their idiot, but now there’s a full discourse. Cardi is from the inner city. Which means I can guarantee that she has at least one cousin that’s a TSA agent. She’s taking the shutdown personally. It’s not like Lahren could have an intellectual debate with her as Cardi B’s English is limited to only a few phrases like a Pokemon. This entire feud failed to accomplish anything like Lahren’s career.
