Melissa Joan Hart Suffers Backlash After Questioning If Jews Believe In Jesus

January 10, 2019 | celebrity | Elliot Wolf | 0 Comments

Melissa Joan Hart is aging faster than the inside of an avocado exposed to oxygen. When you’re 42, sometimes you forget that you now live in a world where you’re supposed to please everyone or suffer outrage and reverse bullying. Hart is under fire for alleged anti-Semitism. Weird, especially when her current bathing suit photos suggest she enjoys a good bagel or six for breakfast. This has got to be some kind of misunderstanding. I can’t fault Melissa for her ignorance of the Jewish faith when the religion itself is similar to a secretive invite only fancy hat club. Most in Brooklyn have top hats and two pigtails. Others outside of that area wear hats that only fit newborns. Who knows if Jesus was involved in any of those headwear decisions?

The Sabrina The Teenage Witch actress, 42, opened up about her religious beliefs during an appearance on the “Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris”podcast last week. She talked about moving her son from a Christian preschool to a traditional school.

“We don’t know if these people are good people,” the actress said she told her son. “We don’t know if they believe in Jesus.”

Once at school her son befriended a Jewish boy, and asked his mom how his new pal would get to heaven.

Religion’s pretty much forced on everyone the same way Tom forced his friendship on you when you signed up for MySpace. And every religion assumes they’re right. But no lost loved one has ever made a collect call from a pay phone in heaven. So it’s not like there’s undeniable proof that you’re going to either heaven or Dante’s inferno after you die. How Melissa can even confidently answer her kid about who goes on the elevator up after dying is baffling. And if you have faith that some elderly man calling shots from Italy dressed as Gandalf with an affinity for kid anus has all the answers, you’re sadly mistaken you Jesus freak. Belief in Christ shouldn’t make or break a friendship between boys. Melissa should just let life take its course and let the two’s friendship fallout when they’re teenagers over a female like nature intended.
