As reported here first, Hurricane Sandy has all but shutdown the northeast since ravaging New York and New Jersey, including the filming of Darren Aronofskys ‘Noah’, starring Russell Crowe and Emma Watson, which is filming in Oyster Bay, New York. IMDB says…
To make it as realistic as possible, the director built a massive ark, which measures 450 feet long, 75 feet tall and 45 feet wide. Unfortunately, it was never meant to be sailed.
With production wrapping up within the next few weeks, the ark was forced to deal with flooding as Hurricane Sandy passed through.
Uhh, you’re supposed to say “spoiler alert”, God. Thank’s a lot dick, way to ruin the ending for people who didn’t read the book.

Just 3 days after his divorce was announced, Russell Crowe got back to work starring in ‘Noah‘, which is filming in New York for some reason. It’s directed by the great Darren Aronofsky, so don’t expect a traditional take on the character. The new, cool Noah will look less like John Huston, and more like an Eastern European strongman in one of those contests where they throw beer kegs in the air and see who can carry a refrigerator the farthest.

DARREN ARONOFSKY – will no longer direct the Wolverine sequel, stating that it would keep him in Japan for over a year, and he didn’t want to be apart from his family for that long. Also Japan glows in the dark now. (e.w.)
THE X FACTOR – has found their first judge to join Simon Cowell, and its LA Reid, arguably the most powerful man in music. While chairmen of Island Def Jam Records (he resigned today to take this and move to Sony) he signed Rihanna, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, and The Killers, among others. The only way the third judge could be more respected is if they got Yoda. (huff post)
COURTNEY LOVE – considered snorting Kurt Cobains ashes. She should just shit on them, since that’s what she’s doing figuratively anyway. (p.e.)
KARISSA SHANNON – is always up for some attention whoring, and St. Patricks Day is no exception, so she went to Malibu in a green bikini. Maybe for Easter she could wear a white bikini and come out of a cave. (pcn)

Rachel Weisz and director Darren Aronofsky have dated since 2001, got engaged in 2005 and had a son in 2006, but now comes word that they’ve broken up, possibly because women are all evil and don’t care about the pain they cause to the men who love them. E! says…
Somewhere along the line things changed.
Notably, there have been rumors about Weisz and Daniel Craig. She and the 007 star allegedly did some serious Bond-ing while working on the film Dream House earlier this year, though neither has confirmed any romance.
Well whatever. Nine years with Weisz would still be awesome. She’s fantastic looking, and seems like she would be really slutty in bed. Last year she was voted the woman men most want to marry in a poll in Esquire. She’s also the big winner of the pole in my pants right now. I bet she’ll be really flattered when she hears the sexy news!

About the nicest thing anyone can say about ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ is that it was in color and the lines to see it were short, yet somehow Hugh Jackman has lined up two of the absolute best screenwriters and directors in Hollywood to make the sequel. Deadline Hollywood says…
Darren Aronofsky’s deal to direct 20th Century Fox’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 is close enough that discussion has turned to shooting the sound stage portions of the film in New York.
A March start date is being eyed so that Aronofsky has time to open Black Swan and be available for the inevitable awards season obligations. When the New York scenes are completed, they’ll head to Japan to shoot the bulk of the Christopher McQuarrie-scripted movie.
It’s almost shocking that the great McQuarrie (who won a screenwriting Oscar for ‘The Usual Suspects’), and Aronofsky, who is expected to be an Oscar nominee for ‘Black Swan’ and who is at least the equal of Wes Anderson, David Fincher, Spike Jonze, Tarsem Singh (‘the Fall’) and Yimou Zhang (‘Curse of the Golden Flower’) when it comes to making visually interesting movies, would make ‘Wolverine 2′. It’s so beneath them I would have been embarrassed to even ask. It would be like if Kubrick made ‘Big Mamas House 3′. Twice the running time means twice the laughs!
