WWTDD Done Got Bought

By Lex January 10, 2016 @ 9:02 AM

While you were sleeping, WWTDD was sold. I was sleeping too. Though we were not sleeping together.

SK Intertainment purchased the site from SpinMedia. SK Intertainment owns and operates a number of sites including the iconic Mr. Skin, which is why you’ll see their banner floating around here moving forward. Never again shall you bear witness to an endless array of contextually irrelevant ads for Spanx, tampons, and UTIs blockading your browser frame. In the next month or two, the site will receive its first UX and platform upgrade since 2009. If you’ve been here since 2009, then you realize that puke stain you made on the carpet is still there. It’s gross. It’s time to change the fucking carpet. Cheap only gets you so far in life.

The upgraded site will have a much improved photo gallery experience, a video player not called ‘borrow shit from YouTube’, responsive mobile and tablet viewing that mimics desktop, celebrity photos not purchased after hours at Turkish bazaars, and a more versatile discussion forum that will allow me cut and paste ‘that’s what your mother said when I was fucking her’ frequently into comments.

Finally, I’ll be sticking around. I just signed one of those Sea Org deals for ten million dollars paid out over the next one hundred billion years. It’s less than McDonald’s cashiers and hookers make, but there less incentive to replace me with a robot or a Chinese girl in a shipping container.

K, so talking about the page on the page seems pretentious and stupid, so I’m putting it all under the cut. And to bribe you into reading all that, at the end there’s a short collection of pictures celebrating September Playmate Kimberly Phillips and her unthinkably perfect ass. I call dibs!

So, if you haven't figured it out yet, we're having just a touch of trouble with the confirmation emails if you registered for the comment section.  The confirmation link that goes to your email has http:// twice.  So if you delete the first http:// (so it looks like this -http://www.wwtdd.com/signup…) you should be good.  Good and sexy, that is.

Bam!  We're back.  Apologies for the delay, but if you look around, I'm sure you'll agree the work we put into the site was worth the pain and suffering of a little downtime.  Someone really smart once said that self improvement is masturbation, and we've always wanted to take a few weeks off to test the theory.

The commenting system will be activated shortly, and the old archives will be moved over to the current format very soon.  Someday, we might even make the site fully compatible with Internet Explorer, although that's about 740th on our to-do list.  If the site looks screwy to you, maybe you should think about getting Firefox, as soon as Dino gets off your chest there, Fred Flintstone.
