George Clooney Thinks He’s James Bond Now

August 2, 2013 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

It seemed kind of a strange that a very serious, well-respected A-list superstar actor like George Clooney decided to start appearing in commercials for Nespresso coffee products, but it makes sense because it’s all part of Nestle’s new PR campaign to import coffee from poor countries like Ethiopia, Kenya and the Sudan. The last one, of course, being the country that George spends most of his time trying to save from dictator Omar al-Bashir, which is why George is using his money earned from the commercials to keep a satellite over the Sudan.

“Most of the money I make on the [Nespresso] commercials I spend keeping a satellite over the border of North and South Sudan to keep an eye on Omar al-Bashir [the Sudanese dictator charged with war crimes at The Hague]. Then he puts out a statement saying that I’m spying on him and how would I like it if a camera was following me everywhere I went and I go ‘well welcome to my life Mr War Criminal’. I want the war criminal to have the same amount of attention that I get. I think that’s fair.” (The Guardian)

That’s not to be confused, however, with his other satellite that orbits the Earth looking for really hot girls who just turned 18.
