WTF IS QUINCY JONES TALKING ABOUT

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones has been friends with Lionel Richie for years but hasn’t spoken to him since Lionel’s adopted daughter Nicole was arrested Monday for driving while high on Vicodin and marijuana.  But Quincy does have some thoughts about Nicole’s troubles:

"You get caught up in the peer pressure and the hoopla – it's a media frenzy. It's insane. Success doesn't help … I adore Nicole.  I've known her since she was a baby. She's a very smart girl. When she was younger she worked eight hours a day for eight years to become an Olympic figure skater. She's a very talented girl."

Yeah that really was magical time.  Remember when Nicole Richie won the gold medal in the Olympics?  Oh, yeah, me neither.  Very obviously her dumb ass didn't train eight hours a day for eight years.  And so what if she did.  I trained harder than that to become Spiderman.  And I'm not Spiderman (*), despite what my footie pajamas may have led you to believe last night.  She probably went to practice twice, then got high and drew pictures of herself skating with a polar bear and Zach from Saved by the Bell.
