NEW INFECTION WONT BE A PROBLEM

June 5, 2007 | Photos | editor | 0 Comments

The Drudge Report says that the prison where Paris Hilton has just begun her 23 day sentence has a long standing and serious problem with staph infections, and last year alone, 402 inmates were stricken.  Drudge says:

For every 1,000 inmates that enter the facility, 13 will contract some version of this infection that is caused by the staphylococcus bacteria.Elizabeth Bancroft, an Epidemiologist for The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, says, “If the infection were to get to the blood or bone the first thing people would have would be fever chills and if it got into the bone they would have a lot of tenderness … Anyone in isolation (like Paris) will have a less likely chance of contracting staph.”

Wow that story got disappointing fast, didn't it?  You know what else goes fast?  Muffins with a hint of cinnamon.  People love cinnamon.
