The New York Daily News says that Jeremy Piven has been banned from the very fashionable chain of Nobu restaurants after arriving at the Aspen location without reservations with a party of 12 and then leaving nothing but a DVD copy of Entourage, Season 1 as a tip. The Daily News says:
"He was asked never to return to Matsuhisa in Aspen by a manager," alleges a snitch. "He came in with a large group of 12 or more without reservations and asked for a table. It was a very busy night, but a table, although cramped, was provided. On his way out, he made a nasty comment to the manager: 'Thanks for nothing.'" Allegedly his tip also left something to be desired. "He left a DVD of the first year of 'Entourage' to one of the waiters. [An employee] ran up the stairs and hurled it at him as he was leaving."
They threw a DVD at him? Don’t they have rattlesnakes in Colorado? I guess what we’ve learned today is that, if you’re a waiter and Jeremy Piven and his jackoff buddies are seated in your section, feel free to pour visine in all his drinks. Tell him Justice sent you. You’re sure to be a hero to those waiters in Aspen and maybe even earn passage into Valhalla, where the souls of the brave live forever.
