patrick swayze isnt doing so good

What a fun and lighthearted morning this is so far.  Because now there are pictures of Patrick Swayze, shockingly thin and gaunt after a losing fight against pancreatic cancer, as he boards a private jet from LA to New Mexico.  It's believed Swayze is headed to his 17,000-acre ranch to spend his last days on his own terms.  Fame says…

Despite looking very thin and with visible patches of hairless scalp, Swayze seemed to be in great spirits as he joked with airport staff, smoked cigarettes, packed the plane with several personal possessions, and laughed with an unidentified woman, before hugging her goodbye.

Swayze had been receiving regular chemotherapy treatments at Cedars-Sanai in LA, but he put an end to that last week.  A friend told Us magazine there was nothing more doctors could do, the cancer was not responding, and the priority now was for Swayze to be as comfortable as possible as he waits for the end.

In the meantime, you and I can wait for the next happy story in today’s parade of laughs.  With any luck a chandelier will fall on a box of kitties, because that would be the most upbeat thing that’s happened yet.
