some guy on ‘Real Housewives’ hung himself

One of the main story lines last year on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ was about the troubled marriage between Taylor Armstrong and her husband Russell. His portrayal on the show wasn’t particularity flattering, and though they were still together at the seasons end, in July Taylor filed for divorce and told People she was verbally and physically abused during their 6 year marriage.

Russell denied that he ever hit Taylor, but did say…

“Did I push her? Yes, maybe things happened in the heat of the moment, but it was during a time in our lives that was not characteristic of who we were. This show has literally pushed us to the limit.”

And now a rope has been pushed to its limit too.

The LAPD confirmed to E! News that Russell was found dead from an apparent hanging in his residence on Mulholland Drive. No further details were released.

Who knows if the stress of being with this woman and living his life on TV drove him to suicide, but I’d really love it if she started dating Sean Penn now just in case.
