Sharif Bogere Comes In Like a Lion, Goes Out Like a Dick

Sharif Bogere likes to enter the ring for his lightweight fights wearing a lion’s head with some bad-ass story about how he got it. It’s a fucking amazingly primally fierce entrance get-up. But then you’ve got to win, not lose like Bogere did to Richar Abril who kicked his ass in the WBA light heavyweight fight over the weekend. Yeah, it was a messy decision, it’s boxing, it’s corrupt and fixed and about as honest as your girl going through your text messages announcing she’s looking up the weather. Still, if you’re going to claim to be the King of the Jungle, don’t get your ass kicked. Then you just look like a dick with a lion on your head.

    Well, to be fair it would be a quasi-interesting story if there were pics and a GIF of the guy in his lion outfit (or getting his ass kicked). But reading a paragraph about a sporting event is pretty much as boring as it gets (well, a close second behind reading what Perez Hilton is eating for lunch).

    No, I don’t. And I’m not angry. I was clearly talking about the anger of everyone else over a mindless celebrity site getting rid of a writer. The site is free and there are other options out there. I’m just wondering how long people will keep coming back here to say the same thing over and over again.
