Spawn of Dolezal

Rachel Dolezal, the Caucasian woman who race identified as African-American, ran an NAACP in the Eastern Washington, and got away with black face, just had a baby. The baby’s name is Langston Attickus Dolezal. It’s a tribute to the roots she so wishes were hers. Langston is presumably in honor of black poet Langston Hughes, and Attickus a salute to Atticus Finch, who defended an innocent black man in To Kill A Mockingbird. Dolezal has yet to decide on the race of the baby. She’s working out the numbers.

Dolezal’s only crime really is her white girl dread locks. That profanity lies somewhere just north of ebola on the chart of things the world could do without. She seemed to have worked earnestly in support of equality for blacks which however borne in her personal mental illness, is more than the average person does for their favorite cause. No, she’s not the undereducated single black mom she had always hoped to be, but she did just misspell her baby’s name so she’s not done trying.
