Bristol Palin Lobs Softball

Bristol Palin posted a picture of little brother Trig in honor of World Down Syndrome Day. Trig has Down syndrome. In the picture that Bristol put up, Trig is smiling and wearing a winter hat that says, “TRUMP MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Enter the Internet and ribald trollers:

“Yep that’s Trumps target demographic.”

In the place deep down where we can forgive ourselves for being the monsters we truly are, that was funny. Making fun of retarded children is a line that can’t be crossed. In public. You can shit in those little mongoloids’ mouths in the privacy of your own friendships all you want. Sarah Palin cost John McCain the election. She’s kind of hot when she shuts her trap. Theoretically. Putting your disabled seven-year-old in a Trump hat is no worse than a Beverly Hills mom putting her fancy-boy toddler in a cashmere sweater. Both say different things about their horrible parents. Don’t take it out on the kids. They’ll be horrible on their own soon enough.
