I’m a libertarian leaning kind of guy. I already know the government is spying on everybody doing everything. Those fuckers will abuse their power any chance they get. But guess what else — they don’t give a shit about you. We now know they’ve spent billions of dollars to make sure they can read encrypted emails. We know Google and Facebook and everybody else took money to allow government agencies to make sure they could see all your private shit if they wanted to. And, yeah, all those people who say that if you’re not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about are pansy nanny staters and probably heads of their home owners association assholes. Still, they’re mostly right. Nobody really cares that you’re secretly gay or you’re banging your wife’s sister or that you don’t really love your spastic son as much as you do the star athlete. Those are still your secrets mostly just because unless you’re in the jihad business or you happen to have a jealous ex who works at the NSA, nobody really gives a fuck about you. Well, except for the creepy IT guy at your company who almost certainly is virtually invading your privacy right this very second. Go write your Congressman about Larry. He could do some real damage.
