News went around Hollywood today that Paramount movie studios was laying off another 110 people. Apparently, Pain and Gain didn’t turn out to be the next Titanic. Just a year ago, Paramount laid off another 120. That’s 230 people who used to work for Paramount who will now have to go work somewhere much better for higher pay and better parking. There was no word on how the movie studio decided who would be cut, but it’s likely they’re going to fire all the people who broke their pledge not to tell their friends that recycled Khan was the lame super secret surprise in Star Trek Into Darkness. Paramount quickly issued notice that their revenue future is bright, which I assume means they’re finally venturing into porn.
