Jessica Simpson is nice

Jessica Simpson has anonymously donated money to a number of Mexican orphanages for years now, and visited them with church groups since she was 11. Now, Jess says she thinks about taking things one step further and adopting children before having her own, citing the influence of Angelina Jolie, whom Jessica looks to as a role model:

“I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing, amazing things, and the international adoption rate just since her has skyrocketed. It’s unbelievable.”

But Nick Lachey is said to have questions about his ex-wifes level of commitment:

“She could be a great mom, but she’d have to concentrate, which I can’t see her doing. She just has too much going on. I don’t know how she thinks she can do this on her own.”
