OH ASHTON, YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN

You probably don't remember these pictures of Mario Lopez giving Eva Longoria a Cartier necklace two weeks ago, because no one cared.  Oh, but guess what, if you had cared, you’d be so burned right now.  Turns out it was all a prank!  HAHAHA!  Psyche!  Sort of!  In Touch says:

Its true that Eva Longoria Parker and Mario Lopez are friends, but the Cartier necklace he gave her on March 6 is fake! In Touch can exclusively reveal that the pair were setting up a skit for Ashton Kutcher’s new reality show with a twist, Pop Fiction.

Uh, this doesn’t qualify as a prank.  It was barely even lying.   A friend gave a friend a necklace.  Oooooo, no way.  You don’t have to get Benji Madden to blow up a federal building to be edgy, but you can't just show him pointing the wrong way to the bathroom either.  Why? Because my funny bone just can't take it anymore.
